ApplyFR ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page describes what data we collect when you use our website at applyfr.pages.dev, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. What we collect
When you submit our lead form, we collect: your name, email address, WhatsApp number, education background, field of study, GPA (optional), language test results, target intake, budget range, application priorities, and any free-text answer you provide. We also collect your IP-derived country, browser type, and the marketing source that referred you.
When you use our chat assistant, we may log your messages so we can detect abuse and improve responses. Chat logs are retained for up to 30 days unless they relate to a reported incident.
2. Why we collect it
We use this data to (a) identify French universities that match your profile, (b) contact you with your match list and application support, and (c) understand which marketing channels are working so we can serve more students.
3. How we store it
Submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Access is restricted to the founder. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
4. Sub-processors
We use these services to operate the site:
- Cloudflare (hosting, database)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Groq (AI chat assistant inference)
5. Your rights
You can ask us to view, correct, or permanently delete the data we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@applyfr.io. We will respond within 14 days.
